Senior Business Development/Sales Engineer
The
successful candidate will have demonstrated success in the
following areas: (1) executing large-scale, technical, and long
term programs to grow sales revenues through development of new
business opportunities (2) identification, qualification and
development of new business opportunities through sound market
and technical analyses (3) construction, negotiation,
communication, and execution of business agreements involving
the development and sales of technical products across
business units, licensees, and market-leading customer
organizations. The group's leading-edge product offerings
include a range of lenses that are used in a variety of
highly-specialized consumer and industrial applications
including cellular phones, photonics, photolithography,
telecommunications, aerospace defense, vision, and data storage.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are
not limited to:
Effectively identifying, developing
relationships within, and communicating across the relevant
decision-making levels within major customers’ organizations.
Collection of relevant customer & competitor information to
guide product/business development activities.
Identification of target customers applications for potential
areas of future growth for micro optics product and technical
ability to articulate the value proposition and technical
benefits to such target customers/applications.
Effective negotiation and execution of business plans and
agreements including product pricing, promotion, and positioning
to continuously strengthen the positions of Micro-Optics
products
Acts as primary commercial point of contact between TMicro-Optics
business, other
business units, local sales licensees in identifying and developing
profitable opportunities for all products and services.
Work effectively with organizations and customers to assure
world class execution in quotation, fulfillment, product
development, and service processes.
Domestic and International Travel as necessary (up to 50%).
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Physics and 3 – 5 years of
business experience involving a combination of sales, marketing,
engineering, and operations roles in optics, electro-optics, or
directly related businesses.

Demonstrated ability to set and accomplish multiple concurrent
objectives using critical path methods.
Demonstrated track record of success in identifying & evaluating
new business opportunities and managing large accounts for
business growth.

Demonstrated ability to effectively promote highly technical
products through oral/written communications and mass market
media.
Effectively manage leads, develop forecasts, execute contracts,
and
manage order fulfillment.
Production Planner
-
Requires a 4 year degree and
Computer
experience is also required. Experience in planning in a
manufacturing environment is preferred
Duties include:
Schedules production plants to maximize efficiency. Requests
purchases for raw materials as necessary.Coordinates with Site
Manager and Planning / Purchasing Supervisor on matters
concerning daily production objectives and future production and
shipment planning.Daily monitors the finished goods inventory in
production plants. Schedules plants to balance competing goal
for minimizing inventory and late shipments to customers.
Adjusts finished product min/max inventory targets to meet
changing sales patterns.
Monitors and coordinates deliveries of stock to three warehouses
to ensure no stock outs.Acts as daily interface between customer
service, salesmen and production. Advises customer service
regarding customer requests.Performs other tasks assigned by
Site Manager or Planning / Purchasing Supervisor.
